Thomas Jacobs Shines at ACCGA Harvest Cup, Captures Men’s Solo Title

The Cape Breton University Club Golf program had an impressive showing at the ACCGA Harvest Cup, held Friday, October 3rd at Paragon Golf and Country Club. Representing the CBU Capers, Thomas Jacobs delivered a standout performance, winning the Men’s Solo Division with a strong round of 77 on a challenging course.

Jacobs showcased consistency and composure throughout the tournament, navigating Paragon’s demanding layout with precision and confidence. His victory marks a significant achievement for both himself and the growing CBU Club Golf program, highlighting the talent emerging from the team.

Also competing for CBU were Luke Timmons and Liam Pierre, who posted solid rounds of 87 each. Their efforts contributed to another proud outing for the Capers, continuing to build momentum and recognition within the Atlantic Collegiate Club Golf Association.

The CBU Club Golf team continues to represent the university with dedication and sportsmanship, with Jacobs’ first-place finish at the Harvest Cup serving as a testament to the team’s growing success on the provincial golf stage.
